Position Summary
The Legal Executive is an individual contributor who is responsible for the end to end management of the legal and compliance administrative systems function for the company.

The Legal Executive will assist the Legal and Compliance Team in handling all legal and compliance administrative systems, reporting, training and file management.

Role and Responsibilities

The Legal Executive must provide assistance to internal stakeholders on matters on the Legal and Compliance systems and file management operations.

Legal:

• General helpdesk function to the business on basic legal queries.
• Proof read, review and approve agreements on standard templates
• Review marketing materials and advertisements (online, offline etc)
• Management of legal and compliance process systems.
• Manage the administration of legal disputes and litigation with legal counsel including liasing with external law firms.
• Provide replies to RHQ and HQ in relation to various administrative requests.

Compliance:

• Management of the Company\xe2\x80\x99s compliance program including:

general administration of compliance program; conduct of employee compliance training; preparation and circulation of relevant compliance messaging and educational material; manage entry and maintenance of compliance program records; and liaise with RHQ and HQ in connection with regional or global compliance requirements.

• Update and implement business policies to ensure compliance with Singapore laws.
• Monitoring of legal developments and trends.
• Update templates on policies

Data Protection Officer / Data Protection Manager

• If required, to perform DPO or DPM functions.

• Works on problems of limited scope. Follows standard practices and procedures
• Normally receives detailed instructions on all work
• Typical entry point for university graduates
