What the role is:
The Legal Officer and one other legal staff member will jointly manage NYP's existing legal workload, including additional contract-related matters.
What you will be working on:

• Documents review - review of MOUs/agreements/contracts/collaboration.
• Legal advice:

Provide legal advice on all matters, including any litigious and potentially litigious matters.
Manage NYP external legal panel, periodic review of panel and coordination of cases requiring their services. * NYP insurance policies - Work with end-users on coverage requirements and insurance broker for renewal of insurance policies, and handling of claims related matters.

• Procurement Conditions of Contract (COC) - Conduct periodic trainings for users and update of COC templates.
• Contract management - In-charge of contract management guidelines and related matters and conduct training.

What we are looking for:

• Relevant qualification in legal education.
• Experience in professional private practice or in-house legal position.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with meticulous and good analytical thinking skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills are also essential.
