Job Description
As a Legal & Regulatory Compliance Specialist, you will be instrumental in ensuring regulatory compliance and nurturing a culture of integrity within the organization. Your role will revolve around upholding regulatory excellence and overseeing members effectively to maintain a robust legal & compliance framework.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate in the development and reinforcement of frameworks that foster a strong compliance culture across the institution\'s entities.
- Contribute to the development, implementation, and alignment of compliance policies, procedures, and governance initiatives.
- Support internal investigations addressing instances of non-compliance or regulatory breaches.
- Draft, review and negotiate contractual, corporate and other legal documentation in close consultation with business and represent business in legal and contractual negotiations.
- Review and advise on internal legal, corporate and compliance policies and proceduresReview and advise on internal legal, corporate and compliance policies and procedures
The succesful candidate would have
- A law dewgrdegree a reputable institution
- Would be a Singapore-qualified lawyer with at least 2 years of experience either in private practice or in-house
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, strong team player
- Compliance experience in financial institutions will be an advantage
