Job Description


Key Responsibilities Meetings and Travel Management

  • Manage calendars and arrange calls, meetings, catering
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, including taxis, accommodation and expense forms as appropriate
  • Prepare and collate papers ahead of meetings
Administration
  • Monitor and deal with emails promptly as required and forward/action as necessary
  • Establish and maintain effective and accurate filing systems (both hard copy and electronic)
  • Assist in opening new clients and matters as required
Customer Service
  • Attend to calls (both internal and external) in a professional manner, follow-ups as necessary
  • Keep client contact details as up to date as possible
Document Production & Technical skills
  • Format and edit legal documents
  • Draft simple correspondences
  • Attend to photocopying and scanning
Billing
  • Assist in billings and payments
  • Record time for fee earners in their absence or as required

KEY SKILLS, ATTRIBUTES AND EXPERIENCE Skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Meticulous and detail oriented
  • Team player
  • Proactive and enthusiastic
Practical Experience/Academic Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent including English
  • Candidates with 1 year of secretarial/EA experience in a corporate/professional services environment will be a bonus
Office Skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, in particular outlook, word, PowerPoint and excel
