• Position Title: Lifeboat cum FFA Technician
• Working Location: Pioneer
• Working Hours: 5 days, Mon \xe2\x80\x93 Thu (8 am \xe2\x80\x93 6 pm), Fri (8 am \xe2\x80\x93 5 pm)
• Salary Package: Basic Salary + OT + Variable Bonus
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in manufacturing, installation, calibration, repair and maintenance of Lifeboat, Davit, FFA, Hydraulics & Loadtest and/or mechanical equipment.
• Apply surface preparation and/or protection techniques according to work plans and instructions.
• Assist in the conduct of system testing and commissioning.
• Carry out Annual & 5 yearly LSA/FFA service and overhauls.
• Carry out troubleshooting to maintain LSA/FFA equipment operating levels.
• Check accuracy of functional dynamic components according to work instructions.
• Identify job requirements based on manufacturing requirements.
• Operate LSA/FFA manufacturing machinery and tools to manufacture required components.
• Perform LSA/FFA equipment installation in accordance with assembly workflow and design specifications.
• Select and calibrate tools for service per OEM.
• Set up components for surface protection and finishing operations according to job requirements.
• Set up machines for priming and/or application of paint and others.
• Use appropriate tools for assembly work according to manual & drawings, instructions and workflow plans.

• Willing to work OT and irregular hours (including weekends) if necessary.
• Willingness to travel on short notice.
• Basic Marine/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Fire-Fighting knowledge will be an added advantage.
• Possess a valid Class 3 driving license preferred.
