Overview:We are currently seeking a proficient and dedicated Light Distillates Operator to manage and optimize our operations within the light distillates segment of our trading activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient handling and distribution of light distillates products, such as gasoline and naphtha, while adhering to stringent operational standards and safety protocols.Responsibilities:

• Oversee the operational activities related to the handling, storage, and distribution of light distillates products, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate the timely and efficient loading, unloading, and transportation of light distillates products.
• Monitor inventory levels, manage product allocations, and optimize storage utilization to ensure adequate supply and minimize product losses.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment, facilities, and operational processes to identify and address potential safety hazards or operational inefficiencies.
• Execute operational procedures and protocols for product quality control, ensuring that all products meet established specifications and standards.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to schedule and coordinate routine maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment upgrades to ensure optimal operational performance.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to operational activities, including inventory levels, product movements, and equipment maintenance.
• Participate in emergency response and incident management procedures, providing support and assistance as needed to mitigate risks and minimize disruptions to operations.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in light distillates operations, incorporating new insights and innovations into operational strategies and processes.

Required Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent education required; relevant technical certifications or vocational training preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations roles within the oil and gas industry, with specific experience in light distillates operations preferred.
• Thorough understanding of light distillates products, including gasoline and naphtha, as well as knowledge of associated operational processes and safety procedures.
• Strong technical aptitude and mechanical skills, with the ability to operate and troubleshoot equipment used in light distillates operations.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks, manage competing priorities, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with team members, supervisors, and external partners.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating safety risks and hazards in operational activities.
• Proficiency in using computerized systems and software applications for data entry, reporting, and operational monitoring.
• Willingness to work in a dynamic and physically demanding environment, including the ability to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays as needed to support operational requirements.
