An attractive Liquidity Management, AVP job has just become available at a top-tier global banking institution based in Singapore. About the Liquidity Management, AVP Role:
In this business-critical role, you will work alongside Treasury Markets on the trading floor, and act as central point of contact for Treasury as well as other businesses and operations teams within Singapore and around the globe. You will also be accountable for providing inputs regarding any process and system changes in the Treasury Services function and/or related upstream and downstream functions. This will include taking a central role in the development and roll out of the new intraday liquidity platform in Singapore. Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor intraday liquidity across the accounts including management of payment scheduler and local accounts in the MEPS+ system
• Calculate and provide funding forecasts to Treasury Markets in line with agreed cut offs on an intraday basis. Provide root cause analysis on key funding drivers and forecast swings
• Proactively manage payment scheduling systems to ensure the firm\'s throughput requirements as well as time critical payments are met
• Monitor MEPS+ to facilitate compliance with all regulatory requirements such as MCB and GPS, raising any issues to Treasury Markets on a timely basis
• Reconcile forecasted vs actual nostro settlements in near real time
• Immediately investigate reconciliation exceptions and alerts
• Be a key business partner and support mechanism to Treasury Markets to ensure effective real time funding and liquidity management decision-making
• Proactively account manage across all accounts held for SCB Singapore including payment switches across accounts to manage liquidity and funding
• Provide Nostro MIS and control reports to support Treasury Markets in the measurement and management of intraday liquidity related risks
• Ensure 100% compliance to the group\'s risk management framework as applicable
• Ensure compliance also with all the group standards, policies, procedures and guidelines as applicable and values of the firm at all times
• The key stakeholders include Treasury, Financial Markets, Country Financial Markets Operations, Group Financial Markets Operations, Finance, Country CIO

To succeed in this Liquidity Management, AVP role, you will need to be experienced with the full payment life cycle within operations including MEPS+, Nostro and Treasury market. You will also possess tracked record of people management experiences. Key Requirements:

• Degree or equivalent in the finance field
• Preferably with seven years of relevant experience in any Banking operations, with at least two years of experience within funding and liquidity management
• Excellent analytical capabilities
• Proficient in computing skills, particularly MS Office
• Strong leadership qualities and interpersonal skills
• Prioritisation and delegation of activities
• Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Expert knowledge nostro, liquidity and cash management functions and processes
• Ability to identify, mitigate and eliminate risks in processes
• Experience working in an environment which requires close business engagement and interaction
• Experience working in a time sensitive and critical environment
