We establish and maintain the enterprise risk management framework that ensures the ability to consistently identify, measure, monitor, control and report material aggregate risks.

The Liquidity Risk Senior Analyst will assist in the implementation and execution of the liquidity risk management framework and supporting processes across legal entities, geographies, and business segments with a focus on Asia Pacific region. The successful candidate will interact directly with members of Global Liquidity Risk Management, Treasury Risk Management, Regional and Country Risk Managers, Treasury, and business teams, with exposure to senior management. You will assist in the design, monitoring, and implementation of an independent assessment of liquidity risks and in the preparation of senior management communications.

In this role, you\'re expected to:
  • Conduct independent assessment of liquidity risks and risk management processes in various APAC locations. This is carried out by proactively engaging and liaising with local businesses, Regional and Country Treasury Risk managers, and Treasury in the respective locations.
  • Co-ordinate and oversee the Liquidity Risk Management Annual Assessment Process for all legal entities in APAC. This includes conducting a thorough review process for a plethora of risk assessment templates from entities across the globe and examining local liquidity risk processes undertaken by local Treasury. Such annual assessment process involves interactions directly with members of GLRM, Regional and Country Risk Managers, Treasury and business teams.
  • Enhance the firm-wide governance framework for liquidity risks, including enhancements related to changes in the regulatory environment and compliance to the regulations. This requires participation in the development of the liquidity risk policies and procedures.
  • Work closely with Regional and Country FinCRO Managers to identify emerging ALM and liquidity risk, and conduct relevant country- or region-specific liquidity and balance sheet analysis to support the implementation of global liquidity risk policies and processes.
  • Assist in collating regional/ local liquidity and balance sheet data, conducting in-depth analysis on the changes in liquidity and balance sheet positions, and preparing APAC FinCRO Dashboard on a bi-weekly basis.
  • Participate in daily 2052a pre-submission touch point discussion and provide credible challenge to Treasury and Reporting Team from a perspective of an independent risk review.
  • Lead and support independent challenge on liquidity risks to enable robust and consistent execution across regions. This involves regular discussions and decision-making forums which take place at both the global, regional and local level.
  • Assist in monitor liquidity risk reporting and metrics to identify and escalate potential areas of concern.
  • Produce presentation materials and present analysis to senior management and regulators.
As a successful candidate, you\'d ideally have the following skills and exposure:

Must possess strong knowledge of balance sheet composition. \xe2\x80\xa2 Must possess knowledge of system workflows, front-end and management reporting application systems, and knowledge in the utilization of database technology5-8 years Treasury experience including asset and liability management is a plus. Attention to detail and accuracy are essential. Solid Microsoft Excel and general Microsoft Office skills. Quick learner with excellent communication skills, team orientation, and ability to work with counterparts in different areas of organization
