Your field of responsibility


*Role can be based in Hong Kong or Singapore* You will provide legal advice and guidance for a range of contentious regulatory, litigation and investigation matters across APAC, MENA and Australia. You will work as part of the Global Litigation and Investigations Group within the General Counsel Division. You will collaborate with stakeholders across all divisions of the Bank, and have the opportunity for regular reporting to, and interaction with, the Bank\xe2\x80\x99s senior management and key regulators in the region. You will be working with a network of attorneys and support staff located in Singapore and Hong Kong.

Your skills and experience


We are looking for an outstanding junior to mid-level lawyer with the aim to define and implement the Bank\xe2\x80\x99s litigation strategy in the APAC and MENA region, someone who has:

• 2-4 years post qualification experience but outside that range will be considered.
  
• Private practice or in-house finance litigation and contentious regulatory investigation experience in APAC or in a global financial center at a top tier law firm
  
• Experience handling internal investigations; responding to regulatory and law enforcement inquiries
  
• Experience of managing internal stakeholders and external counsel/experts
  
• Ability to work efficiently and independently in a dynamic environment
  
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, a self-motivated attitude and a flexible working style
  
• Dedication to fostering an inclusive culture and value diverse perspectives.
