Provide comprehensive lending support and expertise to a specific area of the business, taking responsibility for tasks of an organizational, process, or operational nature.
Manage all mid-office lending activities in complex domestic and international bilateral and syndicated credit facilities.
Determine, register, and monitor transactions, including acting as an agent, in applicable risk monitoring and reporting systems.
Perform checks on drawdown and payment requests, monitor credit limits, outstanding balances, and availability under credit agreements.
Determine and instruct applicable funding needs for involved transactions.
Communicate effectively with internal and external clients and stakeholders.
Collaborate with the front office and risk management to advise and structure tailor-made transactions.
Understand all relevant operational aspects of transactions related to risk, finance, payments, and financial markets.
Develop and implement efficient operational processes for tailor-made deals in cooperation with the front office and risk management.
Participate in interdepartmental projects, contribute to test plans, and participate in the development and testing of applicable lending systems.
Prepare monthly reports on suspense and reverse GST reconciliation, as well as other control reporting.
Ensure regulatory reporting compliance, including TBGS and MAS610 H Form.
Key Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, preferably with a major in Banking & Finance.
Minimum of 2 years of work experience in the banking industry.
Strong knowledge of lending middle office operations and familiarity with related front-to-end workflows.
Background in the administration of lending Financial Covenants.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong finance and accounting background with hands-on experience preferred.
Familiarity with the LOANIQ system is a plus.
Knowledge of SWIFT payment processes would be advantageous
