Our client is an International Bank who have a strong presence in the Asia region, across both Corporate Banking and Wealth Management business lines. They are looking to hire a Loans Operations candidate with experience working within Corporate Banking, and exposure to end-to-end processing of bilateral and/or syndication loans.

Key responsibilities

• Be responsible for end-to-end processing of syndication/bilateral loans transactions and monitoring of commitment fee payments
• Handles settlements and SWIFT messages
• Ensure compliance with policies/SOPs
• Perform screenings and sanction checks
• Monitor maturity dates and follow-up with tracers
• Prepare monthly reports
• Ensure prompt follow-ups of non-compliance (if any) to prevent recurrence
• Contribute to process improvements/automation initiatives and ad-hoc projects/tasks as allocated

• Minimum 2 years experience in Loans Operations
• Willing to learn scope of Trade Finance Operations
• Positive attitude, good interpersonal skills, good team player
• Knowledge of controls pertaining to Anti-Money Laundering & Terrorist Financing, Customer Data Protection and operational risks
• Effectively bilingual in English and Mandarin as the role requires written and verbal communication in Traditional Chinese with Mandarin-speaking colleagues.
