Job Description

JOB PURPOSE
Provide acupuncture services for patients using safe, effective, updated techniques and procedures to maximize optimal recovery.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES * Comply with Ethical Code and Ethical Guidelines for TCM Practitioners

• Assess, establish and carry out acupuncture treatment plans of patients
• Document treatment plans provided to patients in electronic medical records
• Maintain professional growth and development through continuing education
• Support and facilitate service evaluation and research studies related to Acupuncture, contributing to evidence-based practice and continuous improvement of the service through monitoring of clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction and service efficiency

GENERAL * Demonstrate good interpersonal skills with the public and staff

• Comply with hospital policies & guidelines (E.g. Infection control, EHS, HR)
• Participate and support organising of publicity or educational events to promote visibility and awareness of Acupuncture Services
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by reporting officer or management

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education / Training / Experience * Diploma in Traditional Chinese Medicine / Degree in Traditional Medicine

• Registered TCM Physician / Acupuncturist
• Possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills
• 1 - 3 years of experience as acupuncturist

Professional License (if any) * Registered with Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners Board (TCMPB), Singapore with Conditional / Full Registration

• Possess valid Practicing Certificate from TCMPB, Singapore

Attributes * Microsoft Office (Powerpoint, Excel - Intermediate/Advanced, Word)
