Responsibilities: People Management and Leaderships
Lead, coach, and develop the direct subordinates and teams
Facilitates knowledge sharing and collaboration among team members
Recruitment, onboarding, appraisal, training and termination
Setup and monitor performance indicators
Profit and Loss Responsibility
Responsible for the Profit and Loss account of Land and Logistics department, ensure the budget and financial target set is being achieved
Approval of Cost according to the Allocation of Competence
Providing data and insights to assist in the creation of annual budget.
Customer retention and support Business development
Participate monthly / quarterly business review with key customers, maintain good relationships and ensure Service Excellence and customer retention.
Lead RFQ programme. Work collaboratively with cross-functional team to provide logistics solution and prepare commercially sound proposal within the given timeframe.
Lead business onboarding, planning and setting up according to customer requirements. Planning and execution of special projects.
Analyse the profitability of the current customers, provide solution to improve profitability by constantly looking into productivity, efficiency and accuracy
Processes and Central Control
Perform root cause analysis, identify gaps in processes and system, and apply innovative approaches to streamline processes, eliminating waste / re-modify non-value-adding activities.
Provide ideas, and drive continuous improvement processes with regards to Efficiency, Quality, Safety, Cost Optimization.
Observe, enforce and follow up on company policies and relevant law and regulation
Ensure revenue and cost are properly reported and booked, prepare accurate monthly management report.
Captures, measure and report on the service delivery and quality, develop robust reporting methods that aims to provide insights of the business effectively.
Lead and drive performance and cost review both internally and externally
Additional Information:
At least 5 years of experience in contract logistics, with at least 3 years in leadership role
Strong People Management Skill
Experience in 3PLs and multi-client warehouse
Good understanding on custom procedures, having prior experience in Zero-GST Scheme would be an advantage
Good communication and presentation skills, able to communicate at ease with customers.
Good commercial mindset, possess excellent analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills
Bachelor degree in Logistics, Transport, Supply Chain management or equivalent.
