RESPONSIBILITIES

This professional multitasker will manage and oversee the receiving, handling, storing, picking, and packing activities within the warehouse, ensuring quality standards are met at every turn. The ideal candidate is exceptionally detail oriented, and able to track multiple facets of the warehouse at any given time. You must achieve inventory accuracy, coordinate orders for all related Spares Maintenance Contracts in a close coorporate with external and internal stakeholders.

• Manage daily activities of the warehouse, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service.
• Meet the demands of the fulfilment centre and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency.
• Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery (MHE) regularly, and oversee general maintenance as needed with suppliers.
• Meet regularly with ILS; Material Planning; Project to review, analyse, and develop actionable plans for inventory optimization.
• Oversee and manage logistics utilized to transport products to customers and internal facilities, communicating with client SMRT on order fulfilment.
• Review and prepare workflow, manning and space requirements, equipment layout, and action plans while ensuring productivity, quality and customer service standards are met.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma / ITC in Supply Chain, Logistics and/or Warehousing.
• Provide demonstrable experience and knowledge of purchasing, contract management, warehousing and materials management.
• Able to interpret drawings, technical specifications and standards pertaining to train parts. (Working in Train industry is preferred).
• Possess well-developed computer skills particularly in MS Office Software SAP (Logistic Module) and Maximo (Desirable to have).
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work with / co-ordinate the purchasing team.
• Superior interpersonal, leadership, communication, organisational and negotiation skills.
• Liaison with internal and external customers as required by the respective Operations and/or project Managers.
• Liaison with suppliers and subcontractors.
