Job Description
:Responsibilities:
- Work closely with appointed freight forwarders
- Advise clients on when equipment will arrive and prepare packing list and DO
- To work closely with warehouse to ensure items are in inventory and inform sales department
- To communicate with storekeepers and ensure PO and packing list items are accurate
- Key in all items in companys ERP system
- To schedule and arrange driver and plan for daily delivery
- To prepare all shipping documents for export shipments
- To arrange fumigation vendor to do fumigation for wooden pallet before shipment leaves warehouse for export
- To work closely with forwarder agent and maintain good rapport to obtain the best rates and service from the forwarder.
- To give support to sales, service and purchasing departments to ensure orders are sent out timely
- GCE xe2x80x98O Levels, NITEC or equivalent in Logistics
- Min 3 years of logistics and warehouse experience preferably in maritime
- Team Player
- Good knowledge of ERP system
- Independent and able to resolve delivery issues
