Job Description

• Position: Logistic Specialist or Warehouse Officer
• Location: Jurong West
• Working hours: 5 days, Mon to Fri (8.30am to 6.00pm)
• Salary (commensurate on experience): Up to $4200+ AWS + OT
• Duration: Permanent
• Industry: Logistics (MNC)

Main Responsibilities:

• Receiving, handling, uncrating/unboxing large product in preparation for assembly.
• Assembly of customer\'s finished product at customer premises on time to contractual lead times and schedule.
• Accurate Placement of product using specialist measuring equipment
• Assembly and fitment of intricate sub assemblies
• Fitment and routing of cable
• Packing, handling, dispatch of return materials and packaging
• Use of IT applications to plan and execute work and update completion of tasks
• Communication of schedule and related tasks to colleagues and customers up and down stream to ensure seamless process flow.
• Provide training and coaching to new and less experienced colleagues and temp workers
• Supervision and guidance to temp workers to ensure safety and best practice at all times

Requirements:

• Must be hands on and technically minded with an interest in build and assembly of product.
• Experience in a production / manufacturing environment an advantage.
• Able to read, understand and execute in line with Standard Operating Procedures and Technical Instructions
• Forklift license would be an advantage.
• Physically fit to carry heavy goods
• Min 1 year related experience
