Our client is one of the largest chemicals company in the world

Objective:

As a member of the logistics team, this role will assist to operate and monitor the logistics activities in the plant, ensuring that the product and raw materials are delivered timely to the required standards of quality and in a cost-effective manner.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure all documents required for shipments are in order
• Direct and coordinary all packing operations to meet delivery schedule and timely delivery to customers.
• Ensure packing and delivery operations are conducted in accordance to safety, health and environment standards and meeting quality control procedures
• Check and ensure that the fire fighting equipment are in good condition for emergency use in the warehouse premise
• Direct and maintain good housekeeping and 5S standards in the warehouse premise
• Coordinate with the maintenance staff / external parties on the repairs of packing equipment
• Ensure continuity in 24h packing operations and delivery activities
• Be aware of the potential hazardous nature of the chemicals in the warehouse premise and take appropriate precautions to handle them
• Maintain confidentiality of all correspondences and assignment
• Undertake any assignments assigned from time to time

Requirements:

• Minimum GCE "O" level.
• Fresh or 1 year of working experience in logistics or related industries
