Job Description

The Logistics Coordinator will oversee the shipping and delivery of materials and logistics personnel, managing the loading of trucks, setting up delivery routes and unloading of material, manage inventory and maintain communications with carriers, suppliers, warehouses, custom brokers and others involved in the shipping and delivery of merchandise.Priority Tasks: Strategically plan and manage logistics, transportation and customer services Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and consumers Keep track of quality, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency Plan routes and process shipments Resolve any arising problems or complaints Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvementsQualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Logistics, Business, Supply Chain or equivalent course.
• 2 years accumulated experience in Warehouse, 3PL and Inventory Management
• With at least 2 years of proven experience in the field of Logistics including third party trucking in the same position.
• With experience in handling Cargo Trucks and Bulk Carriers, and has technical knowledge when it comes to its repair and maintenance.
• Knowledgeable of fleet or trucking management system
• Work experience with warehouse people, dispatchers, to Operations Officers.
• With knowledge in ISO
