The Opportunity

The Logistics Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient handling of all shipments entering and leaving the company while providing exceptional customer service at all times. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work within a fast-paced logistics environment.

Working Pattern:

Full-time, Monday to Friday (40 hours), and alternate Saturdays (4 hours)

Key Role Accountabilities

General Duties

Monitor the receipt, booking-in, and dispatch of all cargo/goods, ensuring accurate records in accordance with Company procedures. Ensure all incoming shipments are booked into the company system in a timely manner. Load and off-load vehicles efficiently and assist with labelling and palletizing of shipments. Respond to operational staff and customer queries regarding shipments and inventory. Maintain accurate inventory records, logging all incoming and outgoing shipments stored in the warehouse. Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure stock accuracy. Keep the warehouse tidy and well-organized to maintain a safe working environment. Stay up to date with relevant transport laws, procedures, and restrictions and apply them in daily operations. Work closely with the Warehouse Supervisor to identify and implement any changes to work instructions or processes. Follow all defined processes and work instructions to maintain operational efficiency.

Customer Focus

Maintain professional and courteous communication with customers and colleagues at all times. Respond promptly to customer and operational team inquiries. Always wear the B&H Worldwide uniform, ensuring a smart and professional appearance. Keep your company identity card visible at all times while on duty.

Compliance & Health & Safety

Adhere to the Company health and safety policy, and other requirements relating to care of equipment and warehouse. Ensure your Company identity card is visible at all times. Carry out equipment checks to maintain cleanliness and worthiness at all times. Respect and adhere to the standards as set out in the employee handbook and the HR Policy Manual relating to the job, attendance, time keeping and behaviour. Make sure you understand and adhere to Company policies, current and new, and relevant Airport requirements Complete all mandatory training within the required time frames and ensure refresher courses are completed before expiry dates.

Your Experience

Customer-focused, flexible, and detail-oriented Previous experience in freight, logistics, or courier services is preferred. Have working knowledge of IT, with the ability to use Microsoft Office and bespoke company systems, including inventory systems Have the ability to work proactively using own initiative in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills both written and verbal. Previous experience dealing with varied customer base and building strong relationships. Ability to consider several possible options and decide on most appropriate method. A good understanding of logistics regulations, including aviation security requirements. Forklift Training (preferred)
