Logistics Coordinator Responsibilities

• Working closely with internal departments to ensure timely receipt and release of shipment
• Coordinating with warehouse on stock / estimated shipment arrival date for warehouse planning
• Arranging freight forwarders for inward clearance
• Coordinate all necessary transportation, such as truck, vessel, airplane to various forwarders
• Coordinating trucking and loading of cargo to ports with Warehouse, trucker and freight forwarder
• Providing shipping cost and shipping details to sales department
• Checking shipping requirements and ensuring compliance with them
• Coordinating with Sales, Lab and Warehouse on export shipment stock availability
• Preparing and handling of shipping documents such as Commercial invoice, Packing list, Insurance, Certificate of Origin, Certificate of Analysis, Bill of laden/combine waybill/seaway bill, FTA forms
• Generate tax invoices and credit notes
• Providing reports to management on inventory based on incoterms and freight spending
• Ensuring proper tracing and tracking of shipments
• Generating monthly shipping reports & monthly stock take reports
• Analyzing performance to identify areas of improvement
• Maintaining customer master, overseeing external warehouse and support SAP improvement projects

Requirements

• Min Diploma in Business Studies/ Supply Chain Management or Equivalent
• Possess 2 years of supply chain working experiences in a Manufacturing industry
• Good knowledge of in logistics operations, inventory control, ISO procedures incoterms, safety and warehouse management
• Possess Certificate of Origin (COO) and Certificate of Analysis (COA) knowledge are preferred
• Proactive personality with strong analytical skills, task-oriented, team-orientated and flexible
• Possess strong hands-on technical experiences, self-motivated, positive attitude, and able to work
