Date Posted: 2024-07-19Country: SingaporeLocation: UE Square, 83 Clemenceau Ave, #11-05/08, Singapore 239920Position Role Type: UnspecifiedRole Overview:The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for import and exports of worldwide shipments, ensuring all activities are undertaken to maximize levels of customer satisfaction and in strict compliance with export and other shipping regulations, and Company policiesKey Responsibilities:\xc2\xb7 Arranging import & export shipments via Air Freight, Sea Freight & Road Freight\xc2\xb7 Raising Chamber of Commerce / Customs documentation including legalization of documents, managing online forms for the efficient, cost effective and lawful execution of all import/export activities\xc2\xb7 Liaising with approved Freight Forwarders and Couriers to make Logistic bookings, review costs and services for freight forwarders and approval of freight invoices supplied by the carriers\xc2\xb7 Maintain and share with colleagues as appropriate, personal knowledge of all relevant import/export law and procedures; tariffs and duties; licenses\xe2\x80\x99 and restrictions\xc2\xb7 Work to tight deadlines, and respond to client priorities, and work schedules\xc2\xb7 Participate in project and Bid & proposal meetings, to provide logistic guidance as well as costing\xc2\xb7 Ensure re-export of products are processed in compliant with the rules and regulations depending on reason of export, i.e., repair, FOC warranty, exhibition.\xc2\xb7 Liaison with Head/Regional Offices in Europe, South & North America, and Asia\xc2\xb7 Communicate with related authorities, customers and suppliers, in all relevant territories and countries, as necessary to ensure efficient, positive and lawful relations, support and activities\xc2\xb7 Handling Hazardous Export shipments\xc2\xb7 Tracking & Tracing consignments through to arrival\xc2\xb7 Liaising with internal & external customers to resolve any shipping issues which arise.\xc2\xb7 Clear understanding of current INCOTERMS\xc2\xb7 Packing of consignments, which includes palletising consignments\xc2\xb7 Loading and offloading collection/delivery vehicles, and maintain records accordingly\xc2\xb7 Receiving goods into the company, and closing out P/O\xe2\x80\x99s on in-house system\xc2\xb7 Maintain records of all Logistic operations on to in-house database and make the data available to other departments upon request\xc2\xb7 Approve supplier invoices and challenge any inaccuracies\xc2\xb7 Represent the Department Manager in their absence as required\xc2\xb7 Perform duties in compliance with Company policies, including but not limited to Anti-corruption, export control, ethic and compliance policies.Basic Qualifications:\xc2\xb7 Extensive export compliance experience, and knowledge of Export Controls.\xc2\xb7 Experience with export/import compliance in the Asia region, including mainland China.\xc2\xb7 Up to date knowledge of ATA Carnet and applying for Certificates of Origin.\xc2\xb7 Excellent IT skills ideally with experience of internal systems and tools including MS Office, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and a high level of MS Excel experience.\xc2\xb7 Good task/ time management skills will be required, as are self-motivation skills.\xc2\xb7 Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise will be required, and ability to communicate at a good level internally and across departments.\xc2\xb7 Ability to work on complex turnkey projects within deadlines\xc2\xb7 Proven record of achievement and ability with emphasis on airfreight processes, customer service, administration and financial awareness\xc2\xb7 Customer Service and communication skills are required, as the role requires collaboration with other departments\xc2\xb7 Proven organizational skills.\xc2\xb7 Attention to detail skills will be required.\xc2\xb7 Must have hands on approach.**Only Candidates with the required Freight Forwarding / Shipping experience will be considered for this role **RTX is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
