Job Description

:

• Location: Tuas (US based company)
• 1 Year contract, subject to renewal or conversion
• Salary: up to $$3,500 + OT
• 5 days work week, 830am to 530pm

Responsibilities:

• Preparing shipping documentation (such as Packing list, Commercial invoice, Shipping docs as per customer and PM requirements)
• Prepare shipping document attestations, legalizations, COO, temp import / export.
• Communicate with Freight forwarders for shipment pickup.
• Maintain tracker for Inbound / Outbound shipments.
• Report preparation upon request.
• Initiate spot quote for freight & material handling equipment.
• Optimize transportation & logistics cost, negotiating rates with carriers & identify cost saving opportunities.
• Ensure 100% compliance towards International Trade Regulations.
• Safely and efficiently performs assigned processes to meet the required daily logistics activities.
• Collaborates and communicates with logistics technicians, Supply Chain Planners, Quality Personnel, and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products about information related to the shipment.
• Tracks, traces, and updates the status of shipments.
• Perform materials physical inspection and warehousing arrangements.
• Ensuring that the quality of all products received meets the required standards, part number and quantity per Purchase Order.
• Supervise orders and arrange stocking of raw materials and equipment to ensure they meet needs
• Keep logs and records of incoming, outgoing materials, warehouse stock & Materials movement.
• Preparing & generate Packing List and Invoice of projects materials before shipping.
• Generate Airway Number (AWB) though DHL and FedEx.
• Coordinating with local suppliers for domestic transportation.
• Coordinating with packing suppliers to arrange for packing services before shipping.
• Physical material inspection and handling

Requirements:

• Diploma certificate or higher.
• Proven experience as logistics coordinator
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• 3+ years of relevant industry experience in logistics operations
• Basic proficiency with MS Office
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
