Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Responsible to compare, identify information, count, weight or measure item of incoming and outing shipment to verify information against packing list & invoice.
• Conducts Quality and Quantity check on goods and documents.
• Updates of warehouse transaction in the system.
• Conducts cycle count and ensure stock accuracy & integrity in the warehouse.
• Processes and resolve of stock discrepancy.
• Coordinates transport and ensure timely delivery of goods to end user.
• Ensures all HSE policy and requirements are met.
• Ensures safety and housekeeping in the warehouse at all time.
• Oversees warehouse staff on skill development and knowledge required for operations, when required.
• Responsible for warehouse purchases and handling of the ad-hoc collection and handling of cash payments, when required.
• Assists in data collection and prepare presentation slides.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in preferably Logistics/Supply Chain Management
• Preferably 3 years of working experience in logistics management & warehouse operation, preferably in offshore and marine industry
• Entry Level candidates are welcome to apply (On Job Training will be provided)
• Possess knowledge of shipping, insurance, import & export procedures
• Possess knowledge of product preservation during storage
• Understand safety requirements in warehouse operation
• Possess knowledge of marine/offshore grade steel & pipe materials
• Possess knowledge of forklifts and MHE operations
• A team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
• Possess supervisory skill to coach and motivate staff
• Possess initiative and meticulous in work
• Able to work independently, meet tight deadlines work under pressure with minimum supervision
• Strong leadership, analytical and problem solving skills
• Knowledge in WMS & ERP system
• Proficient in MS Office applications
