Job Description

:

• Engage in negotiations with shipping carriers to secure favorable rates and terms for ocean and air freight services.
• Maintain regular and clear communication with both internal teams and external stakeholders such as clients, suppliers, and carriers to ensure smooth operations.
• Compile and analyze data on shipping volume, key performance indicators (KPIs), and performance metrics to assess operational efficiency and performance.
• Monitor and analyze trends in the shipping market to identify opportunities for optimization and cost savings.
• Propose and implement operational solutions and cost-saving initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce expenses in transportation operations.
• Lead a team of logistics professionals, providing supervision, guidance, and knowledge transfer to team members to enhance their skills and effectiveness in their roles.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or bachelor\'s degree in any discipline, accompanied by at least 5 years of experience in shipping, freight forwarding, or a multinational corporation (MNC) with logistics-related responsibilities.
• Essential experience and knowledge in shipping and logistics activities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to perform effectively under high pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Demonstrated maturity, honesty, and self-motivation, coupled with strong interpersonal skills.
• Willingness and availability to travel occasionally and work irregular hours when necessary.
