Job Summary:

• You will be a key member to participate in international transportation contract negotiation with ocean liners and freight forwarding companies. You are required to also communicate effectively with internal sales, manufacturing companies and external service providers set up agreement, SOP and all freight related matters. In additional, KPI setting, data analysis and market research is required in day-to-day operation.

Job description:

• Participate in annual ocean and air freight negotiation
• Daily effective communication with internal and external parties
• Prepare monthly volume tonnage, KPI and performance evaluation report.
• Shipping Market Analysis
• Provide operation solutions and cost savings activities
• Expect to lead a team and not only to provide supervisory function but also able to transfer knowhow to the team members

Requirements:

• Diploma / bachelor\'s degree in any disciplines with 5 years of experience in shipping, freight forwarding or MNC involved in logistics related role
• Experience and knowledge of shipping and logistics related activities are essential.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Power point and Word
• Good Communication and presentation skills
• Able to work under high pressure and meeting tight timeline.
• Mature, honest, self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills
• Able to travel and work at irregular hour (occasionally)
