My client is a top pharmaceutical in the world. It’s mission is to develop medicines that solve health issues today and tackle the medical challenges of tomorrow. Due to an expansion, they are looking for a competent Logistics Program Manager. The role sits in the Global Distribution and Logistics team.
Your new role
- Lead and contribute to long term high impact projects and initiatives such strategic transformation and process optimization to reduce logistics cost for the business
- Drive best practice distribution and logistics, and the integrated optimization of logistics regionally
- Recognize logistics continuous improvement opportunities and support the introduction of new products
- Identify gaps, provide analysis to determine benefits and risks related to the implementation of the initiatives
- Recommend solutions, change management, and adopting data analytics tools to support business growth and requirements
What you'll need to succeed
- At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business or related
- At least 6 years of experience with regional logistics project management
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to identify new process improvement opportunities and develop solutions.
- Ability to work independently on projects with cross functional teams on different time zones.
- SAP experience
- Familiarity of distribution channels
