Logistics Specialist (Sales & Forwarding)
As a Logistics Sales and Forwarding Specialist, you will be integral to the expansion of our logistics and forwarding services. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and managing logistics operations to ensure the smooth transportation of goods. You\'ll collaborate closely with clients, carriers, and internal teams to deliver tailored logistics solutions that exceed expectations.Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within the logistics and forwarding sector.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both prospective and existing clients.
  • Conduct market research to uncover trends and potential growth areas.
  • Prepare and present tailored proposals and quotes to clients.
  • Meet sales targets, contributing to overall company revenue growth.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and resolving concerns efficiently.
  • Understand clients\' logistics requirements and provide customized solutions.
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through effective communication and proactive problem-solving.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and management of logistics operations.
  • Coordinate with carriers, warehouses, and other service providers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
  • Monitor and track shipments, resolving any issues or delays promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Prepare and review logistics-related documentation, including bills of lading, customs forms, and contracts.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and logistics operations.
  • Generate reports on sales performance, operational metrics, and market trends.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including operations, customer service, and finance, to ensure smooth workflow and efficient service delivery.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and addressing any issues that arise.
Key Requirements:
  • A levels/Diploma/Degree.
  • Must be a Singaporean.
  • Proficiency in English & Chinese.
  • Proven experience in sales, logistics, or forwarding with a successful track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of logistics processes, shipping regulations, and supply chain management.
  • Office-based with occasional travel for client meetings and site visits.
  • Full-time position with standard office hours; flexibility may be required to meet client needs.
