Qualifications (Educational attainment, knowledge, skill/s, training/s, and experience/s required)

• At least College graduate
• Proven ability to lead and direct COSH/BOSH Training
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in logistics in a construction set-up
• Proven ability to direct and lead others within an environment of fast-paced periods of intense deadlines and fluctuating workload.
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Exhibits and demands high ethical standards in relations with personnel, suppliers and clients
• Motivated, dependable individual who exhibits a strong attention to detail
• Able to adhere to a flexible and demanding schedule that may result in short days, short-notice unscheduled overtime or additional weekend shifts

/ Responsibilities

• Primarily responsible for overseeing the many steps required to deliver a finished product to the client.
• Works closely with the Operations Manager for daily priority and direction.
• Performs, oversees and trains logistics personnel.
• Prioritizes daily workload, under management supervision, in varying conditions.
• Manages and sets priority for personnel to perform all daily functions within the department at a high level of accuracy and efficiency, under the direction of or in the absence of the Manager.
• Compiles and distributes regular and special reports using established formats and procedures.
• Follows all safety guidelines established by the Company, including proper use of safety equipment and relevant safety procedures; reduce the risk of workplace incidents and injuries and promoting safe practices and identifying unsafe conditions and acts.
• Engaging your team and collaborating with others to make safety a shared responsibility.
• Maximize materials and other equipment utilization.
• Implementation of project schedule.
• Perform other duties as required.
