Job Description

Key responsibilities


Staff management:

Supervise and lead logistics staff, including scheduling, training, and evaluating performance.

Inventory management:

Monitor stock levels, manage storage, and ensure there is enough product to meet demand, while minimizing costs.

Shipping and receiving:

Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, oversee the process of receiving and storing goods, and resolve discrepancies.

Coordination and communication:

Liaise with carriers, suppliers, customers, and other internal departments to ensure timely delivery and resolve issues.

Process improvement:

Develop and implement strategies to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer service.

Compliance:

Ensure all logistics activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, including safety and environmental standards.

Reporting and analysis:

Track and analyze logistics data, prepare reports, and identify areas for improvement in the supply chain.
