Job Description

• Position: Logistic/Warehouse Operations Manager (MNC)
• Location: West of Singapore
• Working hours: 5 days, Monday to Friday (8.30am to 6.00pm)
• Salary (commensurate on experience): Up to $10,000 + AWS + Annual Bonus Incentive + Medical + Dental
• Duration: Permanent
• Industry: Logistics

Main Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the operations to achieve key performance index and the required service standards
• Monitor and analyse P&L of the operations, establish business controls and provide solutions to reduce cost and increase revenue.
• Defines roles and responsibilities, plans for the department\'s future needs and operations; counsels employees on performance
• Works collaboratively with customer and staff to assure operational effectiveness,
• Adhere to polices and procedures and maximize the flow of all incoming and outgoing material.
• Supervises and develops staff and otherwise carries out supervisory responsibilities according to company policies and laws
• Manages quality system and continuous process improvement within the facility
• Process development and continuous improvement and managing productivity.
• Responsible for meeting and exceeding customer metrics (cost, quality, Customer Service and Supplier Performance)
• Defines requirements for operation and ensures the implementation of new strategies and initiatives to effectively meet or exceed requirements & customer expectations.
• Drive Lean Warehousing System.

Ensure safe work environment for all employees * Administers and communicates company policies

• Reviews performance expectations with leadership team regularly
• Providing expectations, performance planning, feedback to team
• Responsible for the training & development and discussions with staff.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Logistics Management, Industrial Engineering, Business or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years in logistics operations management or shippers and warehouse industry with operation experience
• Experience in providing direction, implementation, and continuous improvement in all phases of logistics solutions.
• Good working knowledge of distribution, inventory planning, network analysis, materials management.
• Experience with customs and regulatory issues related to logistics
• Hands on person
