Lorry Crane Driver

Job Description
- To drive lorry crane and to operate the crane related operations in a safe manner.
- To drive the tipper truck hook loader (roll on and off skip) or other assigned vehicle when not driving the lorry crane vehicle or operating crane.
- To ensure the safe loading and unloading of materials onto vehicles and assisting colleagues in this task where necessary.
- To open the side board or tail board of the lorry for loading and unloading of equipment and machinery.
- All materials must be secure on the vehicles to enable safe transportation and to avoid any loss or damage.
- Operate and maintain all vehicles in a safe and courteous manner.
- Conduct vehicle checks before and at the end of the shift and report any problems or damage to immediate superior.
- Ensure that all operational requirements including all delivery and lifting operations are met in a timely and safe manner.
- Observe and report any equipment faults and failures immediately.
- Obey and comply all traffic rules and Company in-house rules and regulations including safety rules and regulations.
- Finding the quickest and safest route to the destination.
- Completing travel logs.
- Following accident procedures.
- Reporting any accidents or delays.
- Other tasks may be required from time to time.
- Working hours may change with short notice.
- Able to work overtime including Sunday and public holidays.
- Willing to work night shift with short notice.
- With valid operate lorry crane licence.
