Job Description

Vehicle Operation & Maintenance

:Driving commercial vehicles over varying distances, conducting pre-trip and routine safety checks (e.g., tires, brakes, oil), and reporting any mechanical issues.

Loading & Unloading

:Safely loading, securing, and unloading goods or materials, ensuring they are properly stowed and protected during transit.

Route & Schedule Management

:Planning efficient routes and delivery schedules, often in coordination with a transport manager, and adapting to traffic reports or diversions.

Documentation & Compliance

:Completing and updating delivery logs, trip reports, and other required paperwork, and strictly adhering to traffic, road, and company regulations. *

Communication

:Liaising with dispatchers or transport managers to report delays, discuss issues, or receive updates on routes and schedules.
