Job Description
Responsibilities:
Loading, unloading, transportations & delivery items to clients or business in a safe & timely manner. Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance Plan routes with delivery schedules Document and log work/rest periods and kilometres spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts To back up duties of other driver as when necessary Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures Collect and verify delivery instructions Ahere to safety requirement while on the job. Any other jobs assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
Requires valid Class 3/Class 4 license. Proven work experience as a lorry driver Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, waze etc) Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly Able to work under pressure * No recent moving or driving violations
