Job Description

:

• Liaise with stakeholders, Vendors, Freight Forwarder and 3PL for all imported shipments, and ensure documents comply to Singapore Custom Import requirement
• Manage a team of Logistics Executives to ensure permits are tallied against system and documents in accordance to Singapore Custom Import requirement, and permits are declared in advance to prevent any port storage costs.
• Escalation to Merchandising Team for any damages, shortages or any deliveries issues to close the shipment in accordance to TF Licensing Condition.
• Supervise the tracking of all import shipments for Insurance submission declaration to Manager.
• Strict adherence to Singapore Custom practice and regulation in regards to import documentation, physical dutiable products and record with Singapore Custom
• Follow up timely investigation on closure with all internal and external stakeholders for any logistics issues or system issue.
• Participate in any survey for imported shipments at FTZ, Licensed warehouse as and when required
• Be the main point of communication and contact between HQ Logistics, 3PL and Local Logistics team
• Support the team in translation of communications between HQ Logistics3PL and Local Logistics team
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the immediate Superior.

Qualifications:

• Preferably Degree in Logistics or related discipline
• At least 3-5 years of relevant experience managing a team
• Possess strong analytical, problem solving, negotiation and communication skills
• Organised and self-motivated
• Able to thrive under pressure
• Professional competency in spoken and written Business level Korean language / English is required to communicate and provide translation with HQ Logistics team in South Korea.
