[What the role is]
ASSISTANT ENGINEER, FAULT COORDINATION
[What you will be working on]
You will manage and safeguard the operational availability of various Intelligent Transport Systems and Tunnels E&M equipment for the Division, to ensure continuity of Traffic Operations. Your duties include analysing system alarms, logs and faults trends, and providing initial engineering assessment of faults and potential impact to Traffic Operations. You will identify recurring or prolonged trends of system faults, generate reports, and participate in the investigation process to identify underlying reason for recurring faults and rectification. You will also be expected to carry out necessary review of operational & maintenance plans, identify all operational risks and work with Maintenance Teams to ensure mitigation measures are put in place. You will also work with Maintenance Teams to support the implementation of the necessary measures for equipment and system improvement.
[What we are looking for]
- Diploma in Engineering or relevant discipline
- At least 2 years in relevant industry
- Good analytical skills and familiar with Microsoft Excel
- Good writing, communication and interpersonal skills
