What the role is:Deputy / Assistant Manager, 1 Financial PlanningWhat you will be working on:You will be part of the team in charge of LTA\'s financial planning and financial resource management/governance. You will be involved in a broad spectrum of financial planning functions, comprising key functions as follows:
\xef\x82\xa7 planning and running the annual budget exercises, which includes compilation and review of budget proposals during annual budget exercises, preparation of consolidated budget proposals to LTA Management and Ministry, etc.
\xef\x82\xa7 budget utilisation monitoring, preparation of management reports/variance analysis on budgets utilisation & reporting of budget utilisation to Senior Management,
\xef\x82\xa7 business partner to selected LTA Groups, which includes provision of budget advisory services and support to internal stakeholders for their projects and operational funding needs, review of funding proposals for submission to LTA Management or Ministry,
\xef\x82\xa7 spearhead review and execution of programme budget to Ministry,
\xef\x82\xa7 propose and update of LTA systems\' budget related transactions/records, and
\xef\x82\xa7 planning/execution of process digitalisation/budget system upgrade projects to meet new/existing business needs, etc.
Your role will also require you to work closely with Ministries to propose, review and justify funding models/needs to secure the required funding during Ministry Block Budget Exercise.What we are looking for:\xef\x82\xa7 Tertiary qualification in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification such as engineering.
\xef\x82\xa7 Minimum 2 years\' relevant working experience is preferred.
\xef\x82\xa7 Strong interpersonal and communication skills, resourceful and able to work independently.
\xef\x82\xa7 Hands-on and effective team player with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
\xef\x82\xa7 Meticulous with numbers and competent in Microsoft Office applications.
