What the role is:ASSISTANT MANAGER, GALLERY TECH & INNOVATIONWhat you will be working on:The Singapore Mobility Gallery offers visitors a glimpse behind-the-scenes of how LTA plans, designs and builds our land transport system, balancing efficiency, liveability and inclusivity as it leverages technology for smarter and more sustainable urban mobility.We offer a host of interactive activities and multi-sensory exhibits where visitors can try their hands at planning an efficient and sustainable transport network and experience the training of public transport workers through various immersive and experiential activities.We are on the lookout for a highly motivated Innovation & Technical Specialist with relevant project management and technical skills in experience design to support the team with creating compelling experiences for visitors to discover, learn and participate in our collective goal to encourage the adoption of greener commutes through our Gallery.The officer will also play a pivotal role in overseeing the operations and upkeep of the Gallery, while driving innovative projects to optimise Gallery operations through technology to enhance the overall visitor experience for our various key stakeholders.By combining technical expertise with a passion for education, land transport and outreach, this role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of the gallery and enhance visitor experiences.Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Singapore Mobility Gallery, including
technical and maintenance aspects, to ensure the smooth running of
exhibitions and events
  • Manage and coordinate with external vendors or contractors to maintain,
repair or install gallery equipment and infrastructure
  • Work collaboratively with the team and relevant business partners within and
outside of LTA to spearhead innovative projects to enhance visitor experience
and Gallery operations through digital solutions; this may include designing
and implementing user-central digital experiences (UX/UI) to support gallery
content
  • Oversee projects from inception to completion - conceptualisation, funding
acquisition, budget management, procurement, concept development, and
implementation - while ensuring timely delivery and impactful results
  • Proactively monitor, track and analyse Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for
projects to ensure the successful delivery of key outcomes.What we are looking for:
  • Knowledge/Trained in a relevant field such as Project Management, Computer
Science, Information Technology, Design, or Museum Studies
  • At least three years of proven experience in gallery operations, project
management, and digital innovation with strong problem-solving and analytical
abilities
  • A good understanding of UX/UI design principles and/or proficiency in project
management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) or tools would be a plus
  • Strong organisational, communication, presentation and inter-personal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Passion for education, design experience, technology and/or UX/UI
