What the role is:
EXECUTIVE / ENGINEER (ELECTRICAL/MECHANICAL) ROLLING STOCK & DEPOT ENGINEERING (RAIL DEPOT)
What you will be working on:
You will work with a team of engineers focusing on engineering aspects of Rolling Stock and depot equipment. The projects you will be working on include LRT trains, specialised track maintenance vehicles (locomotives, wagons, rail grinding vehicles, etc.), rail depot equipment (automatic train wash plant, automatic storage retrieval system, underfloor wheel-lathe, etc.) and bus depot equipment (automatic bus wash system, bus testing and maintenance equipment, etc.)
You will have the opportunities to work on developing technical specifications, reviewing design submissions from suppliers and exploring engineering initiatives to improve reliability, operation and maintenance of the Rolling Stock and depot equipment. You will also need to work closely with cross functional teams from different disciplines within LTA, as well as with Railway Operators and contractors to provide support to project teams at various stages.
What we are looking for:

• Background knowledge in Electrical / Electronic /Mechanical Engineering. Kowledge of data analytics is a plus

• Keen interest in Railway systems and eagerness to learn the engineering design of trains and depots

• Self-driven and possess the initiative to work independently

• Willingness to participate in site works such as testing and commissioning activities, including shift works on weekends and public holidays

• Available for overseas travel for testing and quality inspection

• Good communication, presentation, and inter-personal skills

• Those with relevant experience may be considered for senior position
