What the role is:

HEAD, ROLLING STOCK AND DEPOT ENGINEERING

What you will be working on:

Head, Rolling Stock and Depot Engineering (RDE) plays a pivotal role in supporting Deputy Director, RDE to manage Rolling Stock, Depot Equipment and Maintenance Vehicles technical works. Your responsibilities include:

• Provide technical advice and support to Rolling Stock, Depot Equipment and Maintenance Vehicles technical and project teams and ensure the successful delivery of the projects.
• Mentor and groom the younger generations of rolling stock and depot engineering engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
• Ensure effective execution of technical studies and monitoring of Rolling Stock, Depot Equipment and Maintenance Vehicles technology trends in the market.
• Leads a team to update Rolling Stock standards and design specifications in line with industry best practices, technological advancements.
• Conduct technical investigations and provide innovative solutions to address Rolling Stock, Depot Equipment and Maintenance Vehicles engineering challenges.

What we are looking for:

• At least 15 years of experience in Rolling Stock and Depot Engineering related works with in-depth knowledge of Rolling Stock engineering principles and best practices.
• Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in complete Rolling Stock project cycle, including tender, design, manufacturing, testing and commissioning, operation and maintenance, is a plus.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
