[What the role is]

[LTA-T&ID] PRINCIPAL / SENIOR EXECUTIVE / EXECUTIVE, EV REGULATIONS

[What you will be working on]

You will be part of the National Electric Vehicle Centre (NEVC) under LTA's Technology and Industry Development Group. The NEVC facilitates EV adoption through efforts to spearhead the regulation and deployment of EV charging systems in Singapore. You will provide operational support to the team responsible for implementing regulations under the Electric Vehicles Charging Act (EVCA) to ensure the safety, reliability and accessibility of EV charging in Singapore. This involves administering the registration of EV chargers, licensing of EV charging operators and mandatory provision of EV charging infrastructure in carparks. You will help to perform operational tasks such as responding to queries from members of public or industry, tracking submissions and timelines, processing refunds and simple submissions, and maintaining internal records. You may also be required to conduct audit checks and monitor licensees' performance to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. You will contribute to achieving the outcomes of ensuring safety, managing operational constraints, and being business-friendly.

Knowledge and experience in regulatory operations, such as regulating licensees or use of banned products Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; you may be required to work on multiple initiatives in the same period Able to work collaboratively in a cross functional team, and with various stakeholders such as companies and other government agencies Detail-oriented and able to take initiative * Good writing and verbal communication skills strongly preferred
