[What the role is]
ASSISTANT MANAGER, PARKING ENFORCEMENT

[What you will be working on]
You will be responsible for the smooth operations relating to vehicle enforcement and assist your supervisor on the overall planning, drafting of enforcement strategies and procedures of the Division. This includes preparation of management project papers for submission.

You are required to coordinate with both internal and external stakeholders on community engagement, legal, procedural, doctrinal and any other matters pertaining to vehicular/parking enforcement.

You will formulate and review relevant enforcement approaches, standard operation procedures and communication programmes. You will attend to public queries, problem solve and respond to their feedback.

You will also be assisting in formulating and implementing an effective system of staff management and deployment, which includes contracted vendors.

[What are we looking for]

• Tertiary qualification in any discipline
• At least 3 years of working experience, preferably in enforcement, service delivery or contracts management
• Candidates without experience, but display good aptitude may be considered
• Bilingual in English and a second language to interact with various stakeholders, including members of the public
• Positive attitude and able to thrive in a fast-paced working environment
• Keen sense of curiosity, enjoys interacting with people from different walks of life
• Good analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as a team
• Having a Class 3 driving licence is not a requirement, but would be an advantage
