What the role is:
[LTA-TRO] PRINCIPAL/ SENIOR ENGINEER (TRAFFIC SENSORS & ASSETS SYSTEM), TRAFFIC & ROAD INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
What you will be working on:
You will be responsible in overseeing the asset management system operation & maintenance, IT cybersecurity compliance and managing projects related to Traffic & Road to improve the safety and efficiency of the Singapore road network and better meet the needs of road users and commuters. You will also be involved in establishing technical specifications, conducting technical feasibility studies, tender procurement, design review, development, implementation, testing and commissioning of the asset management system and communicating requirements with internal and external stakeholders under your charge.
What we are looking for:
Knowledge preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology Security.
At least 3 years' experience in system engineering studies and process design thinking in cybersecurity, asset management system and/or Geographic Information System (GIS) preferred.
Candidate with good background in developments works on Low Code platform, IT security design (e,g understanding of IM8 compliance), cloud architecture design and Agile project management is welcomed.
Experience in engagement with stakeholders on operations enhancement works
Good experience in assessing and substantiation of Variation Orders or SR requests to support users' maintenance and operation needs
Skills in co-ordinating with relevant parties such as Contracts and Contractors to design and implement improvement works so as to ensure successful completion within cost, time and quality standards
Ability to work with Contractors to analyse, test and trouble-shoot and propose resolution to maintenance issues
Good writing, communication and presentation skills.
Possess initiative and resourcefulness as well as keen interest in problem-solving.
Able to work independently as well as in a team.
Have strong sense of responsibility and strong analytical mind.
