[What the role is]

[LTA-TRO] SENIOR ENGINEER / EXECUTIVE ENGINEER, INTELLIGENT TRANSPORT SYSTEMS DEVELOPMENT

[What you will be working on]

You will be part of a team spearheading the design, development and maintenance management of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) to improve the safety and efficiency of the road network and to better meet the needs of commuters.




You will be involved in IT systems software and enhancements design, implementation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities, including technical feasibility study, project planning, design and documentation review.




You will collaborate with the Project Manager, the team and external contractors to ensure the successful implementation, testing and commissioning of the IT systems and software enhancements.

[What we are looking for]

Knowledge in Information Technology/Computer Science/Engineering or relevant disciplines 5 years of experience in IT system implementation projects including programming and system testing Strong understanding of information technology and its application in infrastructure and software systems Application development experience on web, desktop application and database in programming language such as Java, HTML, CSS, Javascript, SQL, and usage of frameworks such as Angular, Node.js. Knowledge and interest in developing AI applications in Natural Language Processing, Large Language Models, Computer Vision and Machine Learning is a plus Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders Strong analytical, problem solving and questioning skills Willingness and ability to support night works and/or duties as required.
