[What the role is]
Assistant Engineer, Vehicle Approval
[What you will be working on]
You will be in charge of processing vehicle approval application and perform hands-on tasks such as inspection of motor vehicles for illegal modifications and roadworthiness. You will address customers\' enquiries and feedback on vehicle safety requirements and vehicle engineering policies. You will also be supporting the Engineers on studies and conducting research on new vehicle technology, standards and study measures to enhance vehicle safety, as well as in implementing measures to improve systems and processes that support the inspection, approval and recall of motor vehicles.
[What we are looking for]
Diploma / NITEC in Automotive / Mechanical / Mechatronics / Electrical / Electronics Engineering. Candidates with NITEC must have at least 3 years relevant working experience
- Able to work independently and multi-task in a dynamic environment
- Service-oriented, and possess good communication, writing and interpersonal skills
- Good knowledge of vehicle technology and automotive engineering will be an advantage
