Machine Operator (Paint Blending & Repacking) - Seletar [LKH] US MNC !! Training Provided !!

Our client is American Fortune 500 company and global supplier of paints, coatings, and specialty materials.
Currently they are hiring Technician to assist in production for silane, colour pigment and aircraft coating. This position will be monotonous and constantly repetitive sitting in 1 position for approx. 7 hours.
This is 12 months agency contract (renewable & convertible to perm).
Working Location is Seletar Aerospace Ave.
Working Hour : Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm.

Colour Blending:
The technician is responsible for the colour matching and quality checks of various coatings products.The technician will establish the formula using a spectrophotometer or colour match techniques, blend and spray the colour match and perform corrections. Have the ability to identify and correct colour shifts and associated colour problems.

Sealants & CPS Repacking:
The technician is responsible for the Sealants & CPS repacking activities and quality checks of various sealants and CPS products.The technician will need to ensure the accurate packing weight of Sealants and CPS products and ensure the correct GHS (Globally Harmonized System) label being used for Finished Goods (FG).

Responsibilities:

• Handle raw material, weighing balances and other manufacturing equipment, including basic warehouse handling equipment such as manual pallet truck as part of the manufacturing activities requirement.
• Manufacture finished goods in accordance to specific process steps and standard operation procedures (SOP) in an efficient, precise and accurate manner.
• Perform assigned manufacturing tasks to produce high quality products under limited supervision and instruction.
• Perform to meet daily production target and capable of responding to overtime when necessary.
• Act as an oversight for product quality on both raw materials and finished goods and identify any issues that may affect production.
• Perform packing and palletising of finished goods, both manually and through use of machineries.
• Participate as a core participant in Productivity Improvement Team and practice productivity/process improvement methodologies such as 5S and Kaizen.
• Perform cross-functional production activities when tasked
• Adherence to maintenance schedules for coatings laboratory equipment.
• Liaison with operations manager with respect to production schedules.
• Working knowledge of colour spectrophotometer.
