As a Barclays Macro Trader, you will have the opportunity to be a part of the Markets team, helping clients to understand developments in global markets and offering execution and risk management across every major asset class in every region. You’ll be responsible for market making and risk management of Korea Macro products. What will you be doing?
Responsible for market making and risk management of Korea macro products
Manage client flows in Rates and FX derivatives, bonds, access products (TRS, bond forwards)
Manage client flows in Rates and FX derivatives, bonds, access products (TRS, bond forwards)
Work closely with the Macro Sales team to support the franchise
Support/build/maintain client franchise, working closely with Distribution and Research
Present trade ideas and engage with clients on a regular basis and visit key clients periodically
Engage with partners in IT to enhance the pricing and risk management infrastructure to improve trade productivity and reduce operational risk
Manage the risk from residual positions by working closely with infra partners and making sure all thresholds/limits for the desk are met
What we’re looking for:
An experience in Rates and FX derivatives market making and risk management, with prior market-making, risk management experience in KRW Rates
Familiarity with Asia financial market behaviors, relevant clients, relevant derivative product, and the pricing of capital intensive transaction
Skills that will help you in the role:
Minimum five years’ experience in Asia markets
Proven track record of revenue generation
Good communication skills, both orally and written, as this role will require that the person interact regionally and globally with internal stakeholders and external clients
