1. Receiving, counting and recording of incoming mail items and/or hand-delivered items (e.g. registered articles, courier items, etc.)
2.Performing counter duties, which include receipt of items/documents from
couriers and attend to counter enquiries from customers and members of public.
3. Sorting of mail items for distribution.
4.Collection and distribution (on foot or by vehicle) of mail items from/to designated work areas according to specified schedules
5.Processing of outgoing mail items: \xe2\x80\xa2 Weighing and franking \xe2\x80\xa2 Preparation of forms, posting dockets, consignment notes, etc. \xe2\x80\xa2 Recording \xe2\x80\xa2 Bagging and labeling \xe2\x80\xa2 Lodging of processed mail at the post office for mailing
6.Checking and processing of outgoing courier items: \xe2\x80\xa2 Checking and processing of Consignments Notes, Airway Bill (DHL, FeDex), etc. \xe2\x80\xa2 Arranging for pickup of items by appointed courier, if needed
7.Checking and collation of invoices for all Singpost accounts.
8.Checking of all data being processed is accurate.
9. Perform ad-hoc dispatch of mail items.
10.Checking and tracing of ambiguous mail items and updating of staff listings.
11. Assist and perform other administrative duties, which include: \xe2\x80\xa2 Issuance of stationery items to staff members \xe2\x80\xa2 Answer mailroom-related telephone enquiries \xe2\x80\xa2 Replying mailroom-related emails
12.Compile and submit daily/weekly/monthly statistics report/month-end reports. (computer knowledge on MS Words and MS Excel is required)
13.Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisors from time to time.
