Job Scope: Primary Purpose
The Consultant is responsible to provide support in the development and maintenance of application system. This includes assist team lead /PM to gather & analyse business requirement, development, support testing, implementation and documentation. Complete individual ‘s assigned project deliverables within allocated budget and timeline.


Responsibilities :
Business Development and maintenance

• Support the development of the system development related task
• Provide production support for batch jobs recovery to meet SLA
• Answer user query related to the system

Project Delivery
• Complete individual's assigned project deliverable within allocated budget and timeline

• Develop and thoroughly test and implement program
• Support user testing (UAT)
• Follow standards, templates
• Deliver high standard of work consistently
• Process compliance
• Comply to corporate governance
• Process Improvement
• Improve work process within own’ s area
• Improve methodology, templates, tools to ensure operation excellence (e.g. shorten delivery timeline, reduce effort)

Customer/Partner Relationship Management
• Collaborate with customers during business development and project delivery

• Ensure deliverable(s) completed meet customer's expectation
• Partner Management
• Collaborate with external and internal parties for business development and project delivery

Team/ People Management
• Coach more junior consultants

Job Requirements:
Degree in Computer Science or related disciplines

• At least 5-7 years working experience in Mainframe, COBOL, CICS, Easytrieve and DB2
• Strong analytical skill and communication skill. Interview and report writing skills are essential
• Self-motivated, creative and a strong team player
• Excellent presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lead, develop and maintain respectful and trusting relationship
• Demonstrates strong technical skills required for the role, pays attention to detail, takes initiative to broaden his/her knowledge and demonstrates appropriate analytical skills
• Able to work independently and work as a team

• Healthcare Domain Must have 3-5 Year
• IBM DB2 - Mainframe Tech Must have 5-7 Year
• Customer Information Control System (CICS) Tech Must have 5-7 Year
• Cobol Tech Must have 5-7 Year
• CA Easytrieve Plus Tech Must have 5-7 Year
