Our Team:

The Maintenance Engineer is recognized within Sanofi Aventis as a subject matter expert (SME) for the Jurong Manufacturing Facility with respect to all Mechanical Engineering and Maintenance activities. In this role, he/she will organize or coordinate a team comprising of Maintenance Executive and Technicians with support from contract resources to deliver the day-to-day planning and execution of equipment maintenance tasks, repair of production equipment, troubleshooting and investigation of equipment problems within the Site Technical function

He/she also work with Project team, Reliability/planning Team, Electrical & Instrumentation team focusing on equipment mechanical engineering, maintainability, right first-time delivery and following industry best practices to meet the strategic needs of the Jurong Manufacturing Facility. He / she ensures the availability and correct mechanical function of all production equipment in a timely and cost-effective manner to continuously improve equipment downtime and malfunctions performance and keep it to a minimum.

Main responsibilities:

• The Maintenance engineer in collaboration with Reliability/planning engineer, ensures preventative maintenance tasks delineated in standard operating procedures/ job plan and corrective maintenance are performed on schedule and in accordance with written procedure requirements and current good manufacturing practices (cGMPs) to meet production schedules.
• Ensure that all preventive and corrective maintenance, including service report from vendors are documented, reviewed and hardcopies signed off / SAP closure upon job completion.
• Responsible for meeting maintenance metrics that includes Technical Downtime, Work Orders completed in time, Late Work Order Portfolio, Un-schedule Work Order ratio and other maintenance metrics.
• Regularly reviewing maintenance work orders in the SAP system and work with impacted departments and maintenance planner to ensure timely execution of the works.
• Ensures information associated with assignment and execution of work orders are entered into the SAP system.
• Assists Executive/Technician in equipment trouble-shooting and secure external support when required to resolve equipment problems.
• Organize the equipment failure investigation, perform root cause analysis and initiate necessary corrective and preventive action (CAPA) to avoid future failure.
• Assist in capital project modification study, prepare capital budget, carry out implementation activities and perform qualification in accordance with site to approved procedures.
• To support reliability program in assessing and development of respective maintenance strategy and identify critical spare parts.
• To conduct/support site asset management improvement program and develop/ review long range strategic asset replacement master plan.
• Drive continuous improvement and execute preventative maintenance in manufacturing processes. Point out possible difficulties in and assure compliance with the company schedule.
• To support customer complaints and perform deviation investigations, also follow up with all relevant engineering corrective actions for closure within agreed timeline.
• Create standard work processes to ensure high and consistent level of maintenance is maintained across site.
• To review and propose revisions to mechanical maintenance SOP\'s and ensure all are relevant and up to date.
• Monitor and enforce compliance measures (including safety) within their specific discipline to ensure inspection readiness of plant.
• To maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal codes and regulations.
• Play a pro-active role in ensuring HSE standards & Life Savings Rule are adhered to. Embrace Zero Incident Mindset and adopt the responsible of HSE protection policies and Life Saving Rules (LSR). Practice safe engineering operation and ensure all HSE procedures are followed.

About you:

• Experience: Ability to organize, prioritize work in the face of shifting demands and tight deadlines.
• Soft skills: Good team building and communication skills. Strong analytical and interpersonal skills. Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships between teams and departments. Customer/Stakeholder focused (understand business plans and operating environment)
• Technical skills: Good understanding of Maintenance Management Organization (Value Driven Maintenance) and associated CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) \xe2\x80\x93 SAP. Excellent equipment trouble shooting, problem solving and technical report writing skills. Proficient in oral and written communication/documentation. Proficient in MS Office tools such as MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Education: Degree in Engineering
