Purpose and Scope
Provide maintenance works and plant equipment to support the Operation
Key Roles and Responsibilities
1) Plan and schedule corrective and preventive maintenance works. Include liaising with operations, Original Equipment Manufacturer, Contractors, prioritize jobs, mobilize work force, spares and allocate resources. 2) Lead technicians in implementing in preventive and corrective maintenance 3) Trouble shoot critical or major plant issues, participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) studies, plant improvement initiative, and drive cost management. 4) Implement management initiatives to optimize the assets and seek to continuously improve on the methods, procedures and update with the latest developments in the market by adopting a suitable approach like proactive initiatives via predictive and preventive maintenance activities and default actions like failure finding, redesign and run to failure. 5) Review budget, monitor spending against budget. Control cost. 6) Upkeep risk registers, take part in safety walk downs, implement safety initiatives and ensure that good safety practices are practiced by all parties\xe2\x80\x99 maintenance work. 7) Develop and establish maintenance procedures, risk assessment and method statements for all maintenance activities to ensure safe execution. 8) Experience in Plant Fire System and knowledge in Electrical System such as MV Switch gear, LV MCC, UPS, Soft Starter, VSD 9) Successful candidate can be appointed as part of the Company Emergency Response Team (CERT) (training will be provided) 10 Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
1) Diploma / Engineering in Electrical engineering 2) Minimum 3 to 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a Power Plant or Utilities plant environment
